I know who I think is way overrated but how bout you (looks or personality, your call)? Excuse the spelling of names. Smile

I'm only picking women who generally got a lot of praise on numerous boards, vid-cap boards, etc.

Looks like I'm with most here, MB was so highly vid-capped and I never understood why, and I always thought she was ditsy. I feel bad for her disease but just as an OCM, thought her praise was unwarranted.

wow! I'm surprised by these results. First, I thought for sure this was some anti-kristina poll (seems like everything is anti KA these days, sadly) and 2ndly, I wouldn't have guessed so many people were not a fan of Melissa. But then, I've been posting with the same 20 people for a long time now so maybe it is good to see other people's opinions.

I'm saying KA but that would be a current thing. 5 years ago I wouldn't have voted that way but I would now.

Can I write in a vote for AS?? Or maybe no one actually likes her so maybe she is rated right where she should be.

By the way, The Resultan vote is mine. For the life of me I cannot figure out why people like her. To each their own I say.

I do agree that Steele would top this list if she was on it. Way overrated.

That's how I feel about Melissa B. But I thought I was the only one, for sure the way I've heard her praised, how often she was capped. But about Sharon, my buddy has to watch TWC all the time (he is an emergency manager) and has said to me often about the "homily blonde chick". He thinks Sharon is quite un-attractive. You aren't the only one.

I don't think Sharon is overrated more like appreciated. (by those of us who like her) I voted for Heather, I don't see anything special about her. I've never watched Melissa and i've only seen Jill on CNN lately. Now to KA.... I respect her enough to never have said a bad thing about her I can recall. Where I get a bit confused is, people rip on her clothes. IMO, you can be a fan of someone because you like watching them with or without attraction. But, if I ever was a fan of hers, and I didn't like her current wardrobe. I would never hold that against her, it defies logic. I don't get the point of the day after day insults of her clothes. Once is probably enough, otherwise its unneeded bashing.

The deal with KA's wardrobe goes way, way back. For some reason, people have taken a dislike to her sartorial choices and extended that to a belief that she dresses like that to alienate her fans. I have never believed that. I know that she does not interact with her fans as a lot do, but that does not make her any less attractive.

Kaptured can provide a sort of visual history of who wore what when.

Any of the on-air folks can dress well or not on any given day. If you like them, it won't matter. If you don't it becomes a point to gripe about.

There used to be a guy on the other boards that would actually take it personally if any of the ladies wore pants. He seemed to feel it was his right to see legs all the time. I never got that. I am glad he went away and hope he stays away.

Thanks for explaining that. If these people were fans, her choice of clothes wouldn't matter. If they can't appreciate her like they once did, due to her attire. They should move on and find a new anchor to watch. I have commented about wardrobes on occasion usually for women I don't like. Which had nothing to do with "leg action". For wearing clothes that look like they just came out of a hamper or very strange looking.

There was also, Artist, that awful time in our history on T-bone's board when we kept theorizing that KA was dressing differently becuase of Carl Parker. A) that's just silly b) Not a one of us could prove that and the acceptance of that as truth got scary and now c) it has proven false which... d) made us as a boad look very bad for looking like know-it-alls. You are right, who cares what she wears. I admit, I miss it but that's why we capped her didn't we?? Well not we so much as you (thank you!). I saw "we" b/c I'm part of T-bone's board but I always always hated that notion that KA dressed differently b/c of something with Carl. Talk about your internet rumor mill!!! (Ok, I promise that is my last on that one, ha ha)

I personally think she just got a little older and dresses as such. I also do think she did gain just a little weight and doesnt' feel as comfortable wearing certain clothes. But she is still one fine looking woman, in my opinion.

Whew. That's a lot to respond to all at once. But, I will certainly try.

Jeff - I agree that sloppy or over the top wardrobe is fair game. As an example, Steele's affection for cheap ugly neckalces and pendants heaped around her neck like garlands on the Macy's Chrtistmas Tree.

Bill - You are completely on target with that shameful piece of history. I am no fan of Parker's but none of us really knows anything except what we see on TV. Some days are better than others, just like life.

I started KApping her because I thought she was very, very pretty. I still think she is very pretty.

I agree that KA has aged along with all of us. I think a lot of folks tend to forget that. Her wardrobe changes may have to do with that or just a style change or maybe she joined a cult of pants wearing blondes. Who knows?

Well everyone else has had positive comments about this, Dutchman, but I'm sorry you don't like it. It was only for fun and I guess I can't please everyone. Artist said it was interesting, others said it was fun, there have been quite a few participants so I don't know what to tell you. I can do one with AS at a later date. Someone already wrote a write in of AS so just consider yours as part of that vote, which would be 2 for AS.

Still, appears Melissa Barrington gets nearly 1/2 the votes 8/17. Interesting.
