It really wasn't a protest so much as a need to take a step back, calm down and think about it. The truth is I enjoy capping and some people liked this board.

As long as we do not descend into extreme goofiness, then I will keep going.

Maybe, Dutchman, you could calm down a bit and help Artist out? My truthful advice and honest opinion? Maybe lay off the "my opinion is the only one that matters" and possibly the "Artist and I are this and Artist and I are that" statements that makes it seem like you two are some select club?

Umm....KAmpground - let's please not start that up again, shall we? I am having a real problem with the attitude towards selected board members. I count you as a long time poster on various KA boards and hope that you will help to set a more positive tone here.

I am hard pressed to see the problem you are talking about. There were some threads where that was a point made, but it was a valid point in repsonse to comments about him and I. I would have replied in the same context.

There is no select club or any such thing.

Hopefully, everyone will calm down a bit. Let's not dash off right away and restart the problems.

And, to say it again, what happened on other boards does not count here.

I'm with KAmpground. Calling people cockroaches, saying murder is funny, and just general mean talk is not what I'd call being friendly. And the "select club" mentality is really annoying.

Cockroach isn't such a bad name, I can think of a few others.. And for the last time, he didn't say murder was funny. Why is it so hard to discuss the women/men and or the networks?

I am not going to let this descend into another free for all attack game. I have no problem with polite disagreement, but y'all persist in reliving yesterday. I had hoped that people could let stuff go.

As far as the cockroach comment, I am unsure as to why that is so upsetting, but calling Kristina fat and sloppy is not. And on the murder thing, that was humor from the start. Dark humor, but funny nonetheless.

What I see is a creeping political correctness happening and I will not countenance such a thing. We are all here because we like looking at TV personalities, be they men or women. To then try to be a politically correct voyeur is just plain silly.

Let's work on the tolerance and sense of humor thing as well as letting yesterday go. Looking backwards all the time is a sure way to hit what is in front of you.

Actually, as far as I can tell KA is only called fat on other boards and I have never seen the term sloppy. And you, Artist, said we are not supposed to mention things on other boards. So why are you saying that b/c people insult KA on other boards it is ok to call people cockroaches on here? If we can use things from other boards, then we should be able to judge other poster's personality from other boards as well.

Sadly you, as the site author/manager, will always have to separate the wheat from the chaff. Chaff will always be a problem; like any cancer, you will have to cut it from the body. Some people just don't get it; no sense explaining the situation to them, just remove them as best you can.

Basically, it seems like Artist and Dutchman get to do things on this board that other people do not. Artist, I'm ashamed, man.
