I just found out. I might have to make it to this one. A massive band from my HS/College days, one of the greatest concerts I ever attended was the Femmes. For 15 bucks, how can I say no?
I might just have to.........
ADD IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Eclectic might work. Alternative, to be certain. Jazzy, bluesy, kinda rocky, very odd.
To know the Femmes is to be different from most anyone else, without sounding snobby.
If you've heard "Blister in the Sun," that's VF.
If anyone has ever screamed at you "Why can't I get/just one f***!" That's the VF.
They're from Minnesota or Wisconsin or somewhere up in the northern mid-west. They made it in the mid 80's, right in my wheelhouse, during my Souixie/Cure/Smiths/REM/U2/every other alternative group stage.
Head on over to Amazon and sample some of their first album (the one with the girl looking in the window). That album goes on the desert island with me...

That is awesome. I'd definitely be there if I were you. Femmes were alternative when alternative was still alternative. They are what alternative should be. |

I never been a fan of alternative but the only band i did like from that time was A.I.C. Hands down they blew away all of the other grung bands.
I still listin to Chains. Its very said what happen to Layne. R.I.P bro. _________________ Hes the ONE. |
