That's WHO-TV's Erin Kiernan on the left. But when you watch her on the web, that's her on the right. It's called Newsbot, WHO-TV's new daily online newscast that uses a computer-generated character powered by Oddcast. "She records the audio and the program syncs the mouth with her voice," said WHO General Manager Jim Boyer. Since Kiernan doesn't need a studio, Boyer said it's much easier for her to update the web newscasts. Watch Newsbot by clicking on it on the home page or by going here. So what does everyone think? Can you take a cartoon seriously?
